At ImproveAI, your privacy isn't an afterthought — it's the foundation. We collect the minimum data needed to make the product work, we never sell it, and we tell you exactly what we do with it. This policy explains everything in plain language.
1. What Data We Collect
We collect only what's necessary to run ImproveAI:
- Account info: Your email address (used for sign-in and account management).
- Prompt text: The text you submit for optimization is sent to our servers to be processed by AI models. It is not stored after the optimization is returned.
- Usage stats: Anonymous counts of optimizations performed, plan tier, and basic error logs — used to improve the product.
- Payment info: Handled entirely by our payment provider (Paddle). We never see or store your card details.
2. What We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your browsing history.
- We do not read content from websites you visit outside the extension.
- We do not track you across the web.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers — ever.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used only for:
- Running the optimization service you requested.
- Managing your account, subscription, and billing.
- Improving the product (using anonymous, aggregated stats).
- Communicating with you about important account or service updates.
4. Data Storage & Security
Account data is stored securely via Supabase with industry-standard encryption. Prompt text is processed in transit and not retained after optimization. We use HTTPS for all communication between the extension and our servers.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted providers to run ImproveAI:
- Supabase — Account database and authentication.
- Paddle — Payment processing and subscription billing.
- AI model providers — To generate the optimized prompts (text is sent securely, not stored by the provider for training).
6. Your Rights
You have full control over your data:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold on you.
- Deletion: Ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.
- Export: Get your usage data in a portable format.

7. Cookies
Our website uses essential cookies only — for things like keeping you signed in. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies.
8. Children's Privacy
ImproveAI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify you by email or in-app.
